Canara Bank shall not be liable for any inaccuracy, error or delay in, or omission of:

  • Any data, information or message; or
  • The transmission or delivery of any such data, information or message; or
  • Any loss or damage arising from or occasioned by any such inaccuracy, error, delay,
    omission, non-performance.

Canara Bank does not warrant that the services and products offered through the Internet/Mobile Banking will be uninterrupted or error free. There may be delays, omissions, Interruptions and inaccuracies in the products, services, information or other materials beyond the control of the Bank available in the Internet/Mobile Banking site or links attached to the site.


Any hyper link to other Internet sites is at customer’s own risk, the contents of which and the accuracy of opinions expressed are not verified, monitored or endorsed by Canara Bank in any way or manner.

Usage of Userid and Passwords:

The customer shall play an important role in preventing online fraud. The customer should be careful not to divulge his User Id, Passwords, or Both to anybody knowingly or accidentally. The customer should also not provide or facilitate unauthorized use of the Userid and Passwords provided to him for Internet and Mobile Banking
The customer shall immediately notify Canara Bank in writing, delivering via e-mail/registered post/courier, if customer forgets or becomes aware of loss of / unauthorized use of User Id, Login Password/Transaction password. The customer will be solely responsible and liable for such transactions that might have occurred prior to Bank disabling the services to the customer.
The customer also has to bring to the Bank’s notice any failure by customer to receive a message from Canara Bank indicating that an instruction/request received and executed or any failure by customer to receive an accurate written confirmation of an execution or any receipt by customer of confirmation of an instruction/order and/or execution which customer did not place or any inaccurate information in customer’s account balances or transaction history.
If customer fails to notify Canara Bank immediately upon such occurrence, neither Canara Bank nor any of its employees/directors/shareholders will be responsible / liable to the customer/others with respect to the consequences there under.

Trademarks, Logos and Service Marks:

The Bank owns the trademark, logos and service marks displayed on the website. These may not be used, modified, reproduces, stored in a retrieval system, transmitted, copied or distributed in any other way for commercial or public purposes.


Any information/page downloaded from the website is at the customer’s own risk and the Bank will not hold itself responsible/liable for any direct or indirect damage/loss caused by any viruses, Trojans, worms, etc during such downloads.


All information and material available on the website is “Without any Warranty of accuracy, security, freedom from virus attacks and non-infringement” of any kind express or implied.
